31 janvier I kissed dating goodbyeOne day a boy who has a bag of marbles proposed a trade with a little girl who has a bag of candy. The girl gladly agrees. But while the boy gets out of his marbles, he realizes that he can't bear to part with some of them. Rather dishonestly, he takes three of this best marbles and hides them under his pillow. The boy and girl make the trade, and the girl never knows he has cheated her. But that night while the girl lies fast asleep, the boy has no peace. He's wide awake, pondering a question that nags him: "I wonder if she kept her best candy, too?" 27 janvier I kissed dating goodbyeAlthough we don't sin when we look forward to marriage, we might be guilty of poor stewardship of our singleness when we allow a desire for something God obviously doesn't have for us yet to rob our ability to enjoy and appreciate what He has given us. 20 janvier I am not skilled to understandAaron Shust - My Savior My God I am not skilled to understand 3 janvier The break is almost over.I was very occupied with church activies before and during Christmas Day. So I was sleeping and reading books right after that. Thanks Debbie, Neal and Erna for these beautiful and encouraging books. On December 28th, had dinner with family of Zhang and Eric. Love their piano and the music. Packed my stuff for moving out the next day. The day after, visited Shelley and had a delicious dinner with her, as well as more beautiful music. Love the noodle. I had two refills until there was no space for even one bite. Went to Blue Mountain with another group the next day. It was so exciting to ski, though I almost fell every time. However, the weather was so bad. At first it snowed a little and everybody was happy but then it rained heavily and all got soaked. The next day, on New Year's Eve, we four girls went to NYC. It's my second time to the city but my first visit was at night so except for Broadway, I didn't really see anything. We went to Times Square, passed the Empire State, shopped for a little bit and then ate at a Korean restaurant for lunch. It's a very good place. Then we went to the Met, just two of us. I only finished 3 rooms in the European section before I was too tired to stand up. I need to go more times. When it's closed, we went to the St. Patrick Cathedral and joined a Mass service there. After these, we went to the Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree and the music/light show. Last we ate ham burgers at White Castle. The environment was not good but the food was not bad, especially the beef sandwich, tender meat with soft bread, yummy.
The next year, on New Year's Day, we had hot-pot at RCCC. It's my first time having hot-pot in the U.S. and I had a lot since I missed it so much. Yesterday and today, moving, cleaning, unpacking. Will go to the institute tomorrow.
A new year has begun. Hope I'll have more wisdom and love in the new year. |
